Client Circuit Migration Support
Location: United States
Due to background check requirements, candidates must be US citizens or GC holders. No C2C.
Key Responsibilities
- Core Essential Skills include networking, routing, and WAN
- Data migration / data-center migration
- Trouble shooting
- Work on connectivity migrations for client, vendor, partner connectivity
- Resource that runs client/vendor meetings
- Work independently on a small team
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Assist with backhaul, MPLS, and network discussions with clients
- Use of SFTP or Connect:Direct
- Migration of client connectivity
- Application File Transfers
- Identify, escalate, resolve issues
Preferred Experience and Attributes:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Math, Science or equivalent knowledge and experience
- Knowledge of networking protocol, routing, ACLs, physical cabling
- Strong technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design patterns and implementation
- Knowledge and experience with supporting applications on various platforms
- High-level analytical, design and project planning skills
- Strong track record of demonstrating troubleshooting and debugging skills
- An aptitude for problem-solving, crisis management and time management
- Knowledge of Linux Administration
We would target 40 hours/week. Due to the nature of data migration processes needing to be completed off hours, some flexibility will be required.
