PDF Compliance Analyst

Hours: 9am-5pm ET.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience developing, modifying, and optimizing Adobe PDF fillable forms in accordance with project specifications and 508 compliance guidelines.
  • Proven experience gathering and following up on business requirements with clients.
  • Test and troubleshoot PDF forms to ensure functionality, accuracy, compliance, and user-friendliness.
  • Implement 508 compliance enhancements, making necessary adjustments to forms for accessibility and usability by individuals with disabilities.
  • Collaborate with the client and business owners to receive form assignments and requirements and prioritize tasks based on project requirements and deadlines.
  • Ensure timely completion of form development tasks.
  • Manage and improve a PDF compliance tracker and corresponding tools.
  • Provide recommendations and improvements for form design, layout, and user experience.
  • Provide recommendations to improve the PDF remediation process.
  • Provide regular updates to project team and client.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices related to PDF form development, 508 compliance, and accessibility standards.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF software.
  • Exhibit a high level of comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining focus on precision and accuracy.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Develop and modify Adobe PDF fillable forms based on project specifications and 508 compliance guidelines.
  • Test PDF forms for functionality and compliance, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
  • Implement necessary adjustments to ensure 508 compliance and usability for individuals with disabilities.
  • Receive and prioritize form assignments from the client and business owners.
  • Communicate regularly with the project team and client to provide updates on the status of form development and modifications.
  • Track the progress of form development tasks and update the PDF compliance tracker.
  • Maintain focus on detail-oriented tasks and ensure accuracy in repetitive form development activities.
  • Continuously improve form design, layout, and user experience based on feedback and best practices.

Preferred Experience and Attributes:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Pro and Microsoft Word.
  • Demonstrated experience creating, modifying, and testing Adobe PDF fillable forms.
  • Familiarity with 508 accessibility standards and compliance enhancements.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in repetitive tasks.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Customer service orientation and the ability to respond and adjust to developments in customer needs.
  • Problem-solving mindset for form functionality and compliance.
  • Experience with federal government agencies is preferred.
