Unified Communications Architect

Location: United States

All candidates must be US Citizens and be able to pass a CJIS background check

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct architectural, policy, and design analysis of the current voice environment and connectivity.
  • Configure new environments and connectivity to support service and application migration.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external resources to coordinate and execute migration efforts.
  • Provide after-hours support and implement changes as necessary to ensure system reliability.
  • Manage Day 1 support and ensure seamless hand-off to operations post-migration.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and optimize voice systems, including Cisco Call Manager, Cisco CUBE, Oracle SBC, Genesys, NICE, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot voice connectivity issues to maintain service quality.
  • Document configurations, processes, and migration steps for knowledge transfer.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to align on project goals and timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies throughout the migration process.

Preferred Experience and Attributes:

  • Strong experience with voice technologies (Cisco Call Manager, Cisco CUBE, Oracle SBC, Genesys, NICE, MSFT Teams).
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale voice migrations.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in supporting mission-critical applications in an enterprise environment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
